Cable car challenge

This is a lab we did trying to figure out how far we can get the car to go. we were limited in materials. We had to build a device to move a figure

At first we had to come up with a design for the car. Sketch the car idea out. Then we had to figure put this cable car together. See picture for design process. After that we moved on to testing.

We had 1 test to see who'd go faster and further. With it fully complete we were sure that it would go far that it would fully work. To our surprise it went further than I predicted but, it unfortunately made it only 8 feet.
